Professionally, Joanie spent many years in the business world in the field of acquisition and contract negotiations. Her passion for working with students and helping them to reach their college goals prompted her to shift careers.

She has been successful in helping students gain admission to top colleges and universities as well as success with admission to the service academies. She is knowledgeable on the ROTC scholarship process and academic scholarship process.

Educationally, she possesses an undergraduate degree in business as well as an MBA. In addition, she earned a graduate level certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, San Diego. Joanie is a member of the following professional organizations:

Lori’s passion for helping young people discover the “right” college match has successfully led her to guiding students in ROTC Scholarships, NCAA recruitment, and admissions to elite colleges and Ivy Leagues. She often visits college campuses and admission officers to get a first-hand sense of their offerings. Her education is a BA in French Language and Literature from the University of Utah in addition to studying abroad.
